A authorized practitioner, Inibehe Effiong, has formally requested the Lagos State Authorities to launch the CCTV footage of the Lekki taking pictures.

The fiery lawyer needs: “Authenticated Copies of Closed-Circuit Tv (CCTV) data displaying the assault on #EndSARS Protesters on the Lekki Toll Gate in Lagos on October 20, 2020;
“Licensed True Copy (CTC) of the Instrument organising the Judicial Panel of Inquiry and Restitution for Victims of SARS Associated Abuses & Lekki Toll Gate Incident with its Phrases of Reference;
“Licensed True Copy (CTC) of the Instrument, Order or Directive below which a revised Curfew was declared and imposed in Lagos State which took impact by 9:00PM on October 20, 2020.”
His software, made pursuant to the Freedom of Data Act 2011, has been delivered to the Sanwo-Olu’s workplace.
Effiong wrote: “Sir, I urgently require the CTC of the stated Devices and the CCTV data to allow me take part, and correctly characterize victims on the Panel.
“It can even be within the total public curiosity for these paperwork to be launched to me timeously as that can improve public confidence within the Panel’s investigation.
“It’s my thought of view that refusal of this innocuous FOI request will undermine your dedication to a reputable, sincere and clear investigation into abuses by SARS in Lagos State and the distant and speedy trigger(s) of the notorious assault on #EndSARS protesters on the Lekki Toll Gate, Lagos on October 20, 2020.
“Kindly see this request as alternative to honour your oath of workplace and advance your pledge to make sure that reality and justice prevail.”
The rights activist reminded Sanwo-Olu that the world is watching to see his motion on the vicious assault by the Nigerian Military.
