Nigerian govt lists airlines that are banned as international flights resume

The federal authorities on Thursday, made it clear that solely authorized airways shall be allowed into Nigeria’s airspace, as worldwide flights resume September 5.

The Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, acknowledged this through the media briefing of the Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19.

Sirika famous that solely the Nnamdi Azikiwe Worldwide Airport in Abuja and the Murtala Muhammed Worldwide Airport in Lagos, would reopen for worldwide travels.

He listed Egyptair, Virgin Atlantic, Turkish Airways, AWA, Kenya Airways and Center East Airways as airways permitted to function into the Lagos airport.

Sirika additionally listed British Airways, Emirates, Ethiopian, AWA, and Center East Airways as airways allowed to function into the Abuja airport.

Nevertheless, the Minister mentioned Air France, KLM, Lufthansa, Etihad Airways, Angolan TAG, Air Namibia and Royal Air Maroc are usually not authorized to function flights into the nation.
