Umahi meets Buhari after defection to APC

Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi, met with President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday.

Umahi was on the Presidential Villa with some All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwarts after saying his exit from the Peoples Democratic Social gathering (PDP).

APC Caretaker Chairman and Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni formally introduced him to Buhari.

In attendance have been former Senate President, Ken Nnamani, Govenors Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi), Badaru Abubakar (Jigawa), amongst others.

Hours earlier, the governor advised his supporters to not castigate federal legislators and others who didn’t defect with him.
